SOFT LANDING

25 – 28 November 2027

‍

at Haven

90 min from Berlin

‍

The world outside is quietening. The days are shorter, the air is cooler — something in you is ready to slow down too. Not just slow down, but really stop for a moment. To exhale. To put things down for a little while. To not worry and care about anything else.

Soft Landing was made for exactly this feeling.

This retreat follows the natural turn of the season — leaning into winter rather than pushing through it. We'll gather around warm cups of tea, move through practices that ask nothing more of you than to arrive, and spend long, unhurried time simply being still. No agenda beyond nourishment. No goal beyond rest.

Over four days, we'll reconnect with the slower, quieter version of ourselves that tends to get buried under the doing. We'll take time to reflect on the year — what it held, what it asked of us, what we're ready to release — and get clear on the quality we want to carry forward into the months ahead. Whether that's more stillness, more self-trust, or simply more gentleness with ourselves. We'll remember that this time of year isn't something to survive — it's actually an invitation. The earth isn't rushed right now, and neither do we have to be.

Whether you arrive exhausted, overloaded, or just quietly craving something more gentle — there's space for you here. Soft Landing is warm, unhurried, and rooted in the kind of simplicity that actually fills you back up.

Come as you are. Leave feeling more like yourself.

ABOUT LĪVA

‍

Līva grew up in Latvia honouring nature’s cycles, pagan rituals, and gathering herbal teas with her mom. That’s where she fell in love with the leaf to later find
herself diving deeper into “The Way of Tea” practice in the ‘Tea Sage Hut Center’ in Taiwan. Now she brings tea medicine wherever she goes.

After years of working with the written word in different mediums and living in an artist residency in Mexico while having a degree in communication science
herself, Līva still hasn’t found a better communicator than tea. Tea energy is very gentle, meets us exactly where we are, and gives exactly what is needed. Tea served ceremonially helps us dive deeper into the inner dialog and connects us back to nature.

Līva wants to have an impact on this world in the way life runs through her. How tea changes her inspires her to change for tea. She wants to become a vessel of life and all its wonders and bring the medicine of Tea and Ceremony wherever she goes. Let her be at the service and serve you some tea.

‍

CHA DAO – THE WAY OF TEA

‍

is an ancient Chinese practice that honors tea as a spiritual elixir for calming the mind and connecting us back with nature. Tea helps us to listen to our body and heart, and see the extraordinary in the ordinary while feeling in harmony and presence. She connects us back to what we already know by simply breathing and being alive. She allows us to rest from all that has been and makes space for all that will come.

Tea ceremonies from the beginning of time have been used to connect people. Everyone becomes equal - sitting on a floor, drinking the same tea from the same kind of bowls. All the mind-made social systems stay behind. It’s not important where we are coming from and where we are going. We all will be one. And when the bowls will be empty, the hearts will be full.

FAQ‍

‍

► Do I need to have a lot of yoga asana experience to take part?

No. We will always give different variations and modifications in the classes so that you can adapt the practice to your needs. However, we do not recommend this retreat for complete beginners.‍

‍

► I am pregnant. Can I still take part?

Of course, you can. We have had pregnant women in the past and we always offer options and variations depending on your needs. ‍

‍

► How many participants will there be?

We will be a maximum of 16 participants plus the team.‍

‍

► How do I get to the HAVEN?

It's a 1,5 hour car journey from Berlin city center and 3.5 hours from Hamburg to Bahnitz, where Haven is located. If you are looking for a lift or could offer a lift with other participants, we are happy to help you arranging small groups to come together. If you are coming by train, take the RE4 from Berlin to Rathenow. From there we can book you a group taxi (the costs are shared by yourself and the group). ‍

‍

► Do I need to bring anything in particular?

You should bring comfortable clothes for your yoga practice, your yoga mat (if possible) and anything else you need for your practice. If you feel like swimming and/or going to the sauna, bring your swimming gear and an extra towel. We also recommend bringing a good book to read, a journal for your thoughts and weatherproof clothing for nature walks and excursions.‍
